With a diverse background in architecture and design, I began my career at HKS, Beverly Hills, CA, contributing to luxury commercial and hospitality projects. I expanded my experience working with smaller architectural firms, developing a detail-oriented approach while exploring different areas of design and process.
I had the opportunity to join the Tesla Design Studio in Los Angles, CA when it was a start-up automotive and technology company, shifting career direction. I led the graphic design department focusing on branding and visual communication, collaborating on a wide range of tasks and helping build a cohesive identity for the company.
Together with Jose, we formed our own consulting business, McSwell, 13 years ago. We chose to move to Cadiz 8 years ago and I have worked primarily helping international clients navigate the local design and construction process in this Region. Focusing on architectural design, I provide support throughout the entire process, from initial property viewings and renovation planning to construction project management.
I have lived and studied in different countries, including the U.S. (L.A. and D.C.), Australia (Melbourne), Austria (Vienna) and Spain (Murcia and Andalusia). I find inspiration from traveling, culture, art, nature and innovative technologies.

I began working as an English instructor before joining Trillo Nuclear Power Plant, where new job opportunities as an interpreter and translator emerged. Trillo NPP was a launching platform to enter the Spanish nuclear sector, where I worked in all stations. In 2010 I began working in power stations across Europe, in 2012 work began in Asia and in 2014 the doors of the American market opened. The experience gained in the nuclear sector was the gateway to other industries requiring high standards and levels of quality.
I am passionate about learning from other cultures and living in different countries, including Spain (Murcia and Andalusia), Scotland (Edinburgh), USA (Kansas City and L.A.) and France (Reunion Island). I love to surf, play music, cook and travel.
