By extending and reconfiguring the existing floor plan, the main house now flows effortlessly to the pool. This 68 m² extension off the main house connects the pool now act as one continuous sequence including opening out onto a shared interior/exterior bar. Generous operable windows open up onto the terrace, and when they swing wide, the kitchen communicates with the people seated at the bar.
A new bathroom also joins the existing house reconfigured in the bedroom layout while respecting the home’s original proportions. Materials, textures and details were chosen to respect the original character of the existing architecture. The result is a home that keeps its soul while gaining the flow, light and indoor-outdoor ease of Andalusian living.
